I had attended the Perrysburg Chamber luncheon in which the Jadwiga Carlson of Accessible Web Studio was presenting the Chambers’ new website that she had created.   Jadwiga’s presentation, creativity, and professionalism convinced me that we needed to create our own “new” website.  Through various meetings and brainstorming, Jadwiga captured the “feel” that we were looking to present with our community.  Her suggestions and assistance through another chamber member, Haley Wilkins (The Flying Olive) expedited the process even more.  It was a great experience to work with such dedicated people within our Chamber.

I want to mention Linda Wilson from Goodremont’s.  A year or so ago we were having a large problem with our existing copy machine. (Old, out dated with limited capabilities) The employees were getting frustrated and our customers were experiencing problems as well. We contacted Linda and she came out and made several wonderful recommendations on how we could improve our productivity and become more efficient.  Linda was here through the entire process as we made the switch to a new printer-copier-scanner-fax and everything else our new equipment has.  Linda really took the time to make sure that we understood the new technology and because of her recommendations we were able to same time and money.  Our branch here in Perrysburg is more productive and our customers are happy as well.

Just wanted to share with all of you that our first Harrison Rally Day was wonderful.  We had a blast and met a ton of people who want to help Hannah’s Socks!!  Some have already started by collecting in their schools and businesses!

Just wanted to let you know what a great job you did with
Harrison Rally Day. I thought it was fantastic and it seemed
like we had the most people ever. I know that I could not see
the booths across the street from us until late in the day because
there was a steady stream of people going by all day. We had
a couple of new administrators at our booth who had never been
to Harrison Rally Day and they were very impressed with what a
great community effort it was and how many people attended.
